Lenders earn yield from interest paid by borrowers. Borrowers deposit collateral into Moonwell (a Compound v2 fork) and borrow overcollateralized loans from liquidity pools. The interest paid by borrowers is distributed to lenders who have supplied assets to the liquidity pool.
